Poker Run on The Water
The Fort Pierce Yacht Club, and its sponsors, presents the 2nd community-wide Annual Charity Poker Run on the water. This event is OPEN to both powered and paddle boats.
There are two separate courses:
Power boats (inboard & outboard)
Paddle boats (Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, etc)
WHEN: April 14, 2019 (12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.)
WHERE: The event starts and ends at the Fort Pierce Yacht Club.
REGISTRATION: $50.00 per boat; $35.00 for jet ski and $20.00 per paddle boat (fees include registration and one Poker Hand). Want to register other people who wish to play? Only $20.00 for other person's on your boat (fee includes their registration and their Poker Hand). For those wanting to participate who do not own a boat Lisa's Kayaks will have a limited number of kayaks & paddle boards available at the event.
CAPTAIN'S MEETING: Mandatory for all participants. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fort Pierce Yacht Club (700 N. Indian River Dr., Fort Pierce, FL 34950)
How it Works
At the mandatory Captain's meeting, participants will receive a participation coupon (to be stamped at each stop). Participants must visit five docks, where they will have their coupon stamped and then draw a poker card from an envelope.
An official will mark their coupon with the rank and suit of the card drawn at that stop. When all five stops are completed for each participant they will return to the Fort Pierce Yacht Club for scoring and results. Poker hands will be scored using standard poker hand rankings (i.e. Royal flush, straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, one pair, high card).

Best Overall Hand
Worst Overall Hand
Best Decorated Power Boat
Best Decorated Paddle Boat
Participants will be guests of the Fort Pierce Yacht Club at an after-event party @ the clubhouse. The award's ceremony will take place during this celebration!
